- Artist ~ Joseph Havel ~ noted artist and teacher, uses common materials in art ~ white dress shirts, curtains, tablecloths ~ to reach out to a broader audience. He deftly addresses the technical and artistic challenge of translating limp fabric into flamboyant bronze sculptures. Throughout his influential career, his work has been shown nationally and internationally and he currently has permanent collections at more than six museums.
- Arts professional ~ Quin Mathews ~ filmmaker, journalist and broadcaster, he has told stories about the arts through television, film and radio for thirty-five years. Creator of Arts Matters on WRR, and his own production company, in the last year he has worked on films on solar power, baroque Mexican churches and a 400-year-old violin returning to its birthplace in Cremona, Italy.
- Arts patron ~ Allen and Kelli Questrom, ~ strong supporters and early lead funders of Dallas Contemporary's Moving Forward! Capital & Endowment Campaign. Widely recognized champions of the arts and education, in 2007 the Allen & Kelli Questrom Foundation awarded a $2.85 million dollar grant to the Dallas Museum of Art, to jumpstart the Museum's new educational Center for Creative Connections (C3).
