The Exhibit ~ Real & Virtual
The galleries of Dallas Contemporary will be transformed into a darkened projection space, where computers connected to the internet and University of Texas at Dallas MobileLab will receive images sent in daily from the exhibition artists located across the country and projected onto the walls. A parallel exhibit will be available online, under the technical supervision of the UTD MobileLab artists. The images will also be available through exhibition blogs & artists’ websites.

inter.sect, a Dallas-based art collective, that responds collaboratively and immediately to verbal prompts
Kirsten Macy's first person on-the-spot, location-sensitive (or possibly insensitive) narratives, Dallas-based
Doreen Maloney's investigating of new forms of voyeurism made possible by mobile devices, specifically automobile accidents ~ she is a member of New Media Caucus and Rhizome
Marisa Olson's work combines performance, video, sound, drawing, and installation to address intersections of pop culture and the cultural history of technology, as they effect the voice, power, and persona ~ she is a member of New Media Caucus and Rhizome ~ German born and both California and New York-based, she is an artist, critic and curator
Marjorie & Ludwig Schwarz's rethinking of the personal video via repeatedly perfecting a performance of Cyndi Lauper's hit Time after Time with their pet cat
