Participate in hands-on activities in the galleries:

Sculpture Sessions ~ 3D design and sculputure using textiles and soft materials
Wildstrokes ~ kids painting workshop featuring design and pattern concepts
Narrative Portraits ~ kids can create a narrative collage using self-portraits, bring a picture or have one taken

Dallas Contemporary Director, Joan Davidow coined the term "Art Thinker" to recognize anyone and everyone whose mind is willing to engage in the endless adventures art brings. Davidow says, "All an Art Thinker needs to bring to Dallas Contemporary is their spirit of exploration and curiosity. The rest is here waiting for them."
